Dr Noland Naidoo


Dr Noland Naidoo is a partner in prosthodontic practice , Howes Michael Naidoo Prosthodontic Practice Inc, in Morningside, Johannesburg, South Africa. He is also a part time consultant in the Department of Oral Rehabilitaion at the University of the Witwatersrand as well a a lecturer at the PI Branemark Institute, South Africa.

Dr. Noland Naidoo has completed his specialist postgraduate training at the University of the Witwatersrand and his undergraduate training at the University of the Western Cape where he also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Implantology. During his postgraduate and undergraduate training he has received many accolodaes for his academic achievements. He was also awarded the SADA medal for leadership.

He has delivered oral and poster presentations at a number of local and international conferences and workshops.

He is a member of the International College of Prosthodontists (ICP), The International Society for Maxillofacial Reconstruction (ISMR), Future Leaders in Prosthodontics (FLiP), the International Team of Implantologists (ITI), the Academy of Prosthodontists South Africa (APSA),  the South African Dental Association (SADA).

He is a key opinion leader for Southern Implants and sits on the Dental Private Practice Committee at SADA which helps direct and form practice protocols and regulations.

Dr Naidoo is a member of the Morningside Head and Neck Forum which is formed by a multitude of specialists and allied health workers who manage head and neck oncology.  The treatment philosophy of his practice centers around quality of life for their patients, especially that of their Head and Neck Oncology patients. They have been pivotal in directing functional rehabiliations for their oncology patients and continue to strive for the improved management of these patients which directly relates to their improved quality of life.

Dr Naidoo’s other passions included the management of tooth wear, management of temporomandibular dysfunction, endodontics, smile optimisation through appropriate techniques aimed at biological longevity.
